Recipe secrets are one of those subjects that fascinate me. There are two things involved, the recipe itself, and how it is done. The best recipe can be a disaster if you don't know the techniques involved in making it.
There are literally millions of recipes available. The problem is, which ones are worth cooking? I know I've tried some that even my dogs wouldn't eat. A great way to shortcut this problem is to have a bunch of proven winners in your cookbook repertoire.
I found a great online source for a recipe secrets cookbook. It is called America's Most Wanted Recipes and it features secret recipes from major restaurant companies. These recipes are the result of literally millions of dollars of R&D money spent each year. These are the most asked for recipes from these restaurants. They are already proven winners that everyone likes.
When you try these recipes you will have results that you know your friends, family, and guests will love. They'll wonder how it is you can cook dishes as good or better than they order at their favorite restaurant.
Most of us have a bunch of cookbooks with just one or two recipes inside bookmarked or sticky-noted. I know we have shelves of them here, and most of them are just taking up space. But not this one. (Actually it is on my computer and I just print out each recipe as I need it.)

Back to our recipe books. There are many good ones out there. We have shelves of them. But most of them we've kept for the one or two recipes in them worth trying. Sticky notes and bookmarks are stuck to those pages. And some of them we haven't looked at in years.
